6.1 WALL AT THE ENTRANCE OF SANDBAAI: SANDBAAI / WELCOME TO SANDBAAI
Mr Boy Fryer informed the meeting on the plans to have an entrance wall with the suburbs name “Sandbaai” reflected on it, similar to the entrance to Hawston. This can also be a welcome to Sandbaai instead of just the name. He had discussions with the owners of the Engen Garage, and they are happy to be part of this project. Mr A Wyngaard requested that Mr Fryer also get the relevant information pertaining to signage from the Building Department as we do have a By-law and regulations in place. Mr Fryer will give more detailed feedback at the next Ward Committee
meeting.
